Customer Service Representative


Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team!

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position is key to maximizing the customer experience in dealing with AMG. It requires excellent communication with the Sales Department, the Distribution Center, Production, Marketing, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing and of course the Customers while performing the ongoing duties.

The Customer Service Representative is required to resolve customer and sales representatives’ issues and is the first point of contact using company policy and guidelines.

The incumbent will be responsible for processing inquiries received by telephone, email, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and fax. This role requires the ability to follow up with clients, deal with customer inquiries, escalations and multi-tasking on related activities. This position also requires diplomacy in order to keep the conversation effective but brief.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Analyzing customer orders for accuracy and contacting the customer for clarification or changes required.

•Communicate and negotiate special requests changes, priorities, reschedules, urgencies, etc.

•Entering all customer orders and information into ELITE SERIES system.

•Liaison with other departments such as the Sales Department, Distribution Center, Production, and Purchasing.

•Respond to customers questions through the website.

Desired Skills and Experience:

•High School Diploma and/or DEC required.

•Excellent skills in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel.

•Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.

•Technical aptitude can be an asset.

•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

•A Team Player with a sense of urgency who is willing to take initiative.

•Must remain and show a positive attitude both to outside customers and fellow employees.

•Bilingual in French and English is required, both spoken and written.

•A solid understanding of the customer service functions acquired through a minimum of two
years' previous experience, preferably within a Medical Devices environment.

•Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
